Jason, Ashlyn, Hadley and Shea

My wonderful brother-in-law and sister-in-law and their kids. When we moved in a couple weeks ago, they joined us in Edmonton and were a great help to us. Beyond the labour, it was so nice to have their company. And I love seeing my nephews and nieces. I also took some quick family photos! Yeah know, I just love taking photos. I know a lot of people do. It doesn’t mean much these days to say you’re a photographer. I always feel hesitant even saying so. I’ve maybe said that I’m a photographer twice. It’s more like - “oh..yeah..I enjoy photography”. It’s someone’s body of work that counts. It’s all I care about. Not years in the business or if you have a studio with a billboard in front or how much gear you have. I’m still so young at this. I can see the quality of my work change quickly. There are photos that I took a year ago (six months ago?) that I would do differently now. I’m glad that I’m changing but it makes it a little difficult when people want to see your work - like - “here’s my site, but only go back three pages, thanks”. Anyway. A couple more photos below…
